I have a question about this gun for the folks that have one. I just picked one up today and really look forward to shooting it Monday. Now to the question everthing I have read in my research before I put spent this much money said it will handle any thing you put in it, so as long as I keep my reloads with in book specs it will last longer than me as I am getting close to being an old fart. Is this true or not as I do like to shoot max loads ever once in a while. Thanks for any info.

Congratulations on your new revolver.

The Performance Center has made many variations of the 8 shot, 627 revolvers over the last decade and a half so we really do not know which you have.

However, any of the 27/327/627 family of revolvers regardless of their being 6 shot or 8 shot are more then capable of withstanding a lifetime of any 357 Magnum ammunition that does not exceed SAAMI specifications.

I just got one about 3 weeks ago and it is wonderful . It handles all my reloads 38 special and 357. I can't feel the recoil with the 38s . Have a tiny bit of muzzle rise with warm 357. I love my 627!!!!

Just got done trying out my new to me 627 PC it shoots better than any I have except my 57 Mountain Gun but I have had it a long time and really like it. 41 mag is my fav right round. This gun makes me look good as it can shoot so much better than me.
