Question about research time

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the average time that it takes to hear back from the historical foundation after a request is sent. I sent off a request almost a month ago on my Registered Magnum. Thank you in advance

I normally send out the letter within a week after payment is received and the Foundation normally responds to your request with our results within a few days. If you are referring to a factory letter request sent to S&W, the turnaround time for those letters is 4-5 months.

I emailed a copy of my factory letter and the request form but have not received any confirmation that any documents related to my Registered Magnum were found yet. I sent off the request form to the Historical foundation about a month ago but have not heard anything back as of yet.

Patience regarding S&W Factory Letter

Thanks for post of usual time; I am now at 2 months exactly but know check was cashed a week after receipt.

The wait time for a factory letter is 4-5 months. This service is separate from the service offered by the S&WHF that takes a week to ten days.
