Hello,
I am looking into purchasing a Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory 22lr, after trying out a friends at the range and loving the quality, accuracy, trigger, and overall great deal for the money.
I am able to get a threaded barrel version for a negligible about more money (only about $10 at the most), but being that most likely i'll never use it, I am considering just getting the non-threaded version, because from what I can tell, it appears as if there's a slightly shorter sight radius, being that the overall barrel lengths are the same on both models, making the front sight placed a slight bit further back.
Does anyone know the exact sight radius numbers on each model, or give me other comments on this issue? I know it might be a small amount, but I want this gun to be as good as possible for my use.
Any other reasons I might want the threaded barrel model if I don't plan on getting a suppressor? Would a muzzle brake be a worthwhile upgrade to this gun?
Thanks.
