Question for CT residents...

I'm also from CT. I just bought the "fake" muzzle break. It uses a set screw. The directions are to drill a tiny hole or use a punch to make a tiny "divot" on the barrel for the set screw to sit in.If you just use the set screw without the "divot" it will most likely fall off after heavy use. And I, personally, don't want to scar my barrel up.

if you decide to do it put the divot at 6 o'clock and it will be hardly noticeable.

Guys wake up!! the law your quoting is for CENTERFIRE rifles, why do you think that an AR in .223 isn't allowed and a AR in .22LR is, because it's not in the law. You should of purchased a "State" gun. I think that's what the shops sell, the one with the smooth forearm. No need to divit the barrel, just crank the **** out of it.

I did purchase a CT compliant 15-22 and it DOESN'T come with a muzzle break for a reason. It's NOT allowed, even on a .22 Also the stock is pinned and only 10 rd mags

Thanks for that info.
So we have to remove the magpul end cap to get the 6 inch to fit ? When it extends under the handguard ,how do we reinstall the end cap ? This is my whole area of concern.
So the video as helpful, but it was done on an older version of the rifle with a different handguard.
Does anyone out there have a pic with it installed on a newer 15-22 Sport ? I think that's what we need to see.

Tom as been said lose the end cap;)

The kineti-Tech shroud is a little on the big side to slide

inside the sport's slim hand guard without trimming the hand

guard.....on my sport i have a "spikes" fake can.
