Question on 29-2

Have a model 29-2 6 1/2in bbl in the original shipping container with label and a Walnut box. The blue bottom blue insert is broken near
where the stock sits. Is there any chance of getting a new insert some
place? Label reads 29-2 BT 6 1/2 INS 33 STOCK - T T-H T-T
Front sight RR SN N441979. Bought it at a action years ago with good
intention of shooting it... Never Did...Box has cleaning rod and brush,
screw driver and cleaning swap have no idea whats its worth

Your "crack in the felt" box condition is common on almost all presentation cases of that era -- no matter how much use they have had....

Your very best option is to have your liner restored. There is a member on this board who does this and does an excellent job at that.... His user name is jcelect.
