Question on acknowledgement of request

When sending in a request for a "deep dive" search, should one expect an acknowledgement that the society received your request?
I sent two requests, with letter copies, one by mail and again by email and am not sure if they ever arrived.

I have the same question, as I sent an online deep dive request in May but no response or acknowledgement received. I don't want to burden the team with follow-up requests, so hopefully someone can share some insights.

The S&WHF does not acknowledge requests for letters of authenticity or requests to search for additional documents.
