Question on M&P 40c Crimson Trace..

I have a M&P 40c and it came with a Crimson Trace laser incorporated into the grip. I don't want to damage anyting but can't figure out how to get the Crimson Trace Laser off of the gun. I know I'm going to have to change the batgtery at some point.....
Also, this may sound stupid of me because I am somewhat of a gun buff but I can't find the serial number on this weapon. I looked everywhere. Any help on both of these questions???

Serial Number on M&P 40C Compact Location ??

I don't see anything about where the serial number is located on this pistol????? I saw the video of the Crimson Trace and I thank you for that but don't see the other ???

NEVERMIND I'm so stupid. I apologize buddy. I have the Crimson Trace grip laser and the serial number is covered up by that. I found it. Thank you berry much.
