Question re: .357 Sig reloading dies

The Lee FCD collet die is the ONLY way to go for this round. All my cases (& all calibers) are deprimed using a dedicated depriming die: heck, I even wash them before I do this! I bought the Hornady 357 SIG 3 die set and use a Hornady 40 S&W carbide die to 1st resize, then the Hornady die for the bottleneck. Never had a problem with sticking.

The Wilson case gauge is also a veritable godsend: almost want one for every caliber I reload (and THAT'S quite a few)...

I use Dillon Carbide Dies and I lube all cases no matter which caliber. Just seems to make the press run smoother to me. My 357 Sig load is 125 grain bullet on top of 12 grains of AA#9 which is a compressed load which prevents bullet set back. 357 Sig is a great round.

Very lightly lube....

Very lightly lube the cases (I use Imperial Sizing Wax), resize and decap, then put the the cases in the tumbler to clean the lube off.

I'm not sure how much .357 Sig ammo costs, but I try to load everything if at all practical.

I used a 40 carbide and then the 357sig sizers with no lube until Dillon came out with their die. Now it is set up on the 550 with no problems.You may have to play with making sure the bullet gets started straight in the case but everything should work out.
