I picked mine up from the FFL today. Lock as expected, nice trigger for a J frame, and the barrel is not over-clocked. My first impressions are very positive. In fact, the wife has her eye on it as her new primary carry.

Ordered mine on the 22nd, picked it up at my local FFL today. Cleaned it up, looks good! I love the .32 H&R Mag cartridge, up until now I've been limited to shooting it in my Ruger single actions. Now the 431PD will be my new carry gun.
For those that don't reload, I am reloading .32 H&R Mag for right around $6.50 a box (of 50), not counting brass acquisition costs. This is definitely one of those cartridges where it pays to reload.

I found a 431 two years ago and love it. With regular .32 Longs, it is a joy to shoot. It weighs almost nothing and is comfortable on my belt most every day with jacketed HP's. I live on the far side of nowhere, so daily carry is standard. I have traded it for a 44 special for the last few days, as a rather cantankerous black bear has been making a visit. Would not want to irritate a bear with the .32 mag.
I should follow up on my posts, I did receive mine and did get a shipping date from Roy that it was April this year. He figures they found enough parts laying around they made up what they had. Just love mine by now and then last month I found a 432PD for sale in Ark. I now have the matched pair, and I am not disappointed. As quickly as these disappeared from the factory you would think they might make up some more.
