Has there been any changes in the laws in 2009 ? That you can carry in pistol free zones if you have a cpl in michigan ?

There's a lot of info, including where you can and can't carry even if you have a MI CPL. After you have thoroughly reviewed all of this information, feel free to come back and ask any question(s) you might have. ;)
 
The permit you question is known as "Unlimited Carry" and still has limitations. In Wayne County, requesting an Unlimited License is a sure ticket to appearance before the County Gun Board. Such permits are usually requested by licensed and bonded private investigators... and repo-men.

Curious, I read the link about places you can't carry in MI and I can't figure out why the heck a repo-man could possibly need some kind of "unlimited carry" as it appears parking lots are not included in the banned areas? PI's make some sense as they have to go talk to people, etc.
