Does anyone have one of the Henry Big Boy's chambered in .44mag/.44 special? I wonder how well they feed the .44 Special round? I would like a lever action rifle in .44 Special to accompany my .44 Special revolvers.

Any and all comments greatly appreciated.

I have a Henry Golden Boy 44spl/mag. I really like it. It feeds well you have to rack the level always forward. I went shooting with my son; he loves the rifle, after about 5 rounds he short strokes the level and a live gets under the carriage and he can't close the lever. I get it home and turn it sideways and the round fall out. I have not had it happen again. It is a fine rifle smooth lever action and very accurate. It is heavy.
