Hi everyone,

I own an M&P 9mm semi (full size) and love it, but am feeling the urge to add my first revolver to my collection. I was hoping some of you might be willing to answer some of my questions.

1) I'm looking for something that will conceal relatively easily, and am thinking of a .38 snubby or maybe a .357 if I can find one in the right size. Any specific models you would recommend? It seems like S&W has about a million out there.

2) For budgetary reasons, I'm considering buying used. Is there anything in particular I should look for in terms of wear and tear to make sure I'm buying something that will function reliably instead of an overpriced paperweight? If something has a little rust or scuffs, are there any products I can use to bring it back to its old glory?

3) What would a reasonable price be for a reliable used model in decent condition?

Thanks a bunch in advance, I appreciate it!

If I were to buy another CC revolver, it'd be a 442 or a
642. I'd also get some Crimson Trace grips, either now or later.
Both of these are alloy frame, and I'd buy them new. Heard a rumor about frame cracks. I don't shoot a Lot of +P, but I will occasionally.
Mine are 38 SPL, 'cause that's all the bigger I can stand to shoot
in a Airweight. These guns are as accurate as you can shoot them.
Pick up a Nemesis on e-bay for pocket-carry, and you're good to go.
There, you asked for an opinion, and that's all I had.
The new poly frame Smiths are supposed to be pretty good, too.
