My brain and trigger finger are in constant argument on the

20 sec 12shots @ the 15
12 sec 06shots @ the 25

I am having trouble squeezing off the first shot with either a revo or semi and losing time.

I know its my brain saying my front sight is not perfect but I am losing valuable time and then getting very sloppy making up my shots with already short time.

I am starting to dry fire snapping up my gun on a fixed object and getting that first shot to break.

If there is another method to improve the speed with accuracy....I would appreciate it.

I always try to make for any time loss on parts of the string that don't involve pulling the trigger like getting out of the holster and reloads. Move fast and shoot slow philosophy so to speak. That way you can take your own sweet time at actual shooting. I usually get my 12 shots at the 10 yard line off in 17 to 18 seconds. I get the quick six in at 9 to 10. I still need to slow down a bit.

I practice fast trigger work by drawing and firing into the berm at the outdoor range. I am not aiming right then, just indexing the gun and working the trigger fast.
I too struggle with waiting for a perfect sight picture when I know I don't need it at closer distances.
