He MADE those early Miller Lite commercials, IMO. Sure, Rodney was funny in them too, but Uecker was a notch above, IMO.
I thought he should've been in more sports movies too. Imagine him in Bull Durham, for example. Or For Love of The Game. He would've been awesome.
He will be missed.

In honor of Bob Uecker I am watching "Major League" right now.

Last night a buddy and I paid our respects to Bob by watching Major League 1 and 2, with a shot at intermission.
Of all the things he could have had on his tombstone he went with his military service.
May he rest in peace. He will be missed.
