R.I.P. Li'l Girl

They ask so little, and give such absolute love and loyalty. I've said this repeatedly here before, but will again: if heaven doesn't have a place for our beloved pets, I have no interest in going there.

I feel for you. Healing will come with time.

Lord help me become the person my dog thinks I am... sorry to hear about her

Sorry for your loss - our thoughts are with you. Remember all the good times you had together with her. It's never a good day when we lose one we love.

What a Sweetie! I know how hard it is to lose such a treasure. Been a number of years since I lost my three girls, but for sure they are not forgotten. :( Sarah helps a lot, guess I spoil her to boot. GOD BLESS!!

I'm sorry for your loss. May your sorrow soon turn to sweet memories.

It always tears me up when I lose a good one but I cherish the love and companionship more than I fear the pain of outliving my faithful companions.

Mike, I just stood up and took off my hat as a gesture of respect to Lea, and in a moment I will pour a dash of red wine in order to toast her life and memory. She has to have been a grand companion for all those years and a source of strength and support during tough periods of any length.

She's a beautiful dog, and she'll still be beautiful when you see her again. I know this has to be a painful day. You have my deepest condolences.

Same goes for me Mike. My wife's dogs are sitting at my feet as I type this. She's been gone 5 years in Oct.They are Maltese Terriers mother & daughter. Ages 14 & 11. I know I won't have them much longer but care for them like Joan would like me to do. Man's best friends for sure.

My prayers are with you and the family Mike. I know how tough it is. My wife and I have lost many of our four legged family over the years, and though we have loved each and every one, some are just "the ones". Such was the case for our old wolf dog Partner, who has been gone nearly 8 years now, and my wifes cat Mousey, who was born in our closet in the Bellingham house. They continue to live on with us in our memories.

We have committed to adopting only older dogs now, though it means less time with them, we can provide a fine home for their last few years. All dogs, but old dogs particularly, deserve our love and respect.

Gods blessings and comfort be with you,

Ron
