Tough day; words can not make it any better, just time.
We have 5 dogs, three cats, two horses, several chickens, and soon live stock (cows, pigs, etc.).
It's an adventure here....wish you well.
I can read the Obits of Hundreds of people I never knew without much regret, but I read about a beloved pet that's passed on and can't help but shed a tear.
I am sorry to hear of your loss. I know every time I have lost one, it kills me a little bit inside. But you can be thankful for the enjoyment you gave each other, and it does get better, with time. As time goes by, don't forget there are a lot of dogs in pounds and rescues that would love a shot at a good life like you gave her. Good medicine for both of you...
I hate to admit it, but I seem to get more upset over losing a pet than I do about a friend or family member. People are supposed to pass eventually, but pets make you feel like they'll be there for you always.
So very sorry for your loss. Sometimes loosing a pet is worse than loosing a person. The person knows what is going on and can accept it. I hope the dogs can also.
