I was reorganizing some stuff and ran into this business card. I knew I had it. I wasn't sure where it was. Anybody want to venture a guess before someone with google figures out its rather sad significance?

I'm not going to try and look it up but didn't John Hinkley buy a gun in Hawaii before flying to Washington DC to attempt to assassinate Ronald Reagan ? Was that business the seller of the gun ?

Good guess, and I guess a close one...check the post just above.

I got the card in '78 so would they be good for 10 years? I think "the event" put them out of business.

Probably 1977. As I remember (almost half my lifetime ago) 01 FFL's were annual ($10) when I 1st got mine in 1982. They went to 3 year sometime between '82 and '95 (mine expired M5). Joe

The salesman who sold the gun (a Charter .38) to Chapman allegedly was named "Ono". Talk about a coincidence.

So Yoko Ono's first husband sold the gun to the guy who killed John Lennon! Bet he gave him John's address and threw in a box of bullets too. I don't believe in coincidence.
