25 years or so ago I purchased three 55 gallon barrels of brass & these were part of it. I am an 06 lover.Reminds me of how I got a lifetime supply of 9mm brass. Years ago when they decided to arm our Canadian Border Services officers, they booked a couple of three-day blocks at my local range for training. I went up late one afternoon after they had left and there were buckets and buckets full of empty brass. I didn't even have a 9mm at the time but I figured it was too good an opportunity to pass up

Paddlewheel tug abandon near my house, 1973.
The steam engine and steam tractor were owned by an old guy in the adjacent county to where I live. He owned two different engines and 2 steam tractors and had track running around his property. He would fire one of his engine up and take kids on his road around for a ride.
This was around 1975 and unfortunately he was in bad health with emphysema and passed sway shortly after I made these photos.
I learned recently his family sold them off and were restored and are in use today pulling tourists.
The last images is from the early 70’s and dates to the 30’s. I remember when it was an operating gas station but has been abandon for 60 years and is now just a pile of rocks. I be live about 10 minutes from it and documented it’s decay over several decades.
