Photographer Tasha Hall creates what she calls ‘farmily’ portraits – featuring families and their animals. Hall, from British Columbia in Canada, says she got the idea after wanting to include all her furry friends in a family portrait. She now travels the world capturing other families with their livestock and pets

Weird... I live in BC and have never heard of her, but read about this in a British paper!

Tried to stay down wind while burning, but it didn't help. I'm in the background by the trunk of the car. Ended up with the munchies when we were done.

That's a heck of an excuse to start a fire to try and keep warm on what was obviously a cold winter's day.

This is a shot I took in Santa Fe, New Mexico several years ago. It's billed as the oldest continuously-inhabited house in the United States, dating back into the early 1600s. Some of the original ceiling timbers have been deliberately exposed in the interior.

My neighbor has llamas & alpacas and herding those is like herding cats. IQ of a fence post.
