Range time with Granddaughter

Took my 10 year old granddaughter and daughter to the range today and let the little one shoot the M&P 1522. She really likes the weapon. She did very well for her first time shooting the 22 at a range. Had a little trouble at first with the sight picture and breathing but towards the end she was getting it. Can't wait to get her back there again. I enjoy watching her have fun because she really loves to shoot. Maybe she'll get as good with the 22 as she is with her pellet gun.

Great deal ! My 9 year old daughter loves her 15-22. She said yesterday after our range time that she's never getting rid of hers.

I too have a 10 year old granddaughter and have recently taken her shooting. She's fired a 10/22, MKII Target and SP101 in .22 LR. A few weeks ago she asked me to buy her a BB gun so ..... we've spent range time in the back yard with that too.

Shooting is good for kids...I think it teaches them to be responsible. I would love to see more kids at the range.

My 11 yr old daughter shoots Steel Challenge and Rimfire Madness with her custom 10/22 and custom MK3 pistol. For Christmas she is getting a new Custom Shop CZ Shadow for USPSA.
