After stringing some fence line this afternoon I decided to head to the range.
Today happened to be the maiden voyage for the 657-4 .41 Mag I recently acquired. According to the original owner this revolver hasn't been fired since he purchased it new in '98. I've never been one to subscribe to the safe queen mentality, so I took it with me for the first time. It is a beast with full house 210 gr. JHP handloads. If anything it makes me want to find a Jovino Effector that much more. The pretty grips will go in the safe for a while. I'm putting some rubber on it, and I plan on shooting it very regularly now.
Along with it is a 610 and a bag of homemade jacketed 10mm which runs about 1300 fps. I also ran a bunch of ammo through my duty weapon, but the Sig ain't photo worthy.
