I plan to put a 2" barrel on one of these barrelless frames I have and a 5 " on the other but I need a couple of small parts I can't find at Numrich. I need a center spring pin for the 5" as well as a locking bolt, locking bolt pin and spring both for the 2" and the 5". Can someone steer me in the right direction?

I like buying parts kits for repair items too. Of course you end up with leftover parts, but can one ever have too many parts?

I have scored a number of parts off eBay when Numrich is out of stock. Midwest Gun Works is another good source for S&W parts, but their website doesn't work quite as well for searching as Numrich.
center pins for any of the 4" K frames of same era should work as well the locking bolts. The K frame locking bolt springs and plungers are all the same

As Steel Slaver said all K Frame locking bolts, springs and pins are the same regardless of barrel length. Call S&W Customer Service at 800-331-0852, they will probably send you those parts free, or at least without shipping costs added as all other retail parts sources will do. Why no one ever recommends calling S&W first is beyond me!
If S&W can't or won't supply parts for whatever reason then go to the other sources others mentioned beginning with Jack First.

Alk8944, I was under the belief that S&W wouldn't sell any parts except a FFL gunsmith! I still need a couple of barrel pins and another set of locking block items, I'll try the mother ship.

I'll recommend Jack First Gun Parts, also. His widow Nancy is running it, since Jack passed. They have a lotta parts and are very nice to deal with..They have Pre War N frame parts under the search term "S &W OUTDOORSMAN ". FYI..

I have called S&W and received small parts for nothing. No FFL
I call S&W and order parts with some frequency. When they ask me for the serial number of the firearm I tell them I have a collection of 50-60 and I'm buying parts for them and for inventory. It does help if you can order parts by part number, which I do, as I have a S&W parts catalog. When you start giving them part numbers they just write them down and ship them. They have excellent back order tracking and sometimes non-shipped parts show up a month or two later. I don't order parts from anywhere else unless I've tried S&W first and they almost always have the parts unless it's a really old revolver.
