I just picked up a nice Smith # 15-4 at a gun show, its a very nice piece, however, the rear sight blade has been worn/filed off. I'd be more than happy to buy any/one if anyone might have an extra. I checked on Numrich's site, all sold out. Thanks in advance.

Smith sells them on their web sight in company store

Thanks Kenny, a friend of mine put me onto that web also, ordered one and it should be here tomorrow!

Do not fear the parts will come. I just got some rear sight parts that were
back ordered (.146 blade and plungers) for my Model 48. Took 6 weeks.

A word of caution. If you've never done a sight blade replacement, you may want to have someone who has help you with it.

It's not as simple as most people think.

You can check out a video on Youtube from Larry Potterfield of Midway USA. He explains it well but, he also has all of the proper tools. As stated above, it isn't an easy job the first time round.
You will more than likely need a new sight screw assembly, as well as a new blade.
Also, if you place your revolver in a gallon size zip-lock bag, it will help to catch the tiny plunger and spring, located on the screw head.
