Recommendations for Chronograph

Alpha Chrony has all the features you could want at a very reasonable price. I had a Pact 1 until uh an accident retired it. Replaced it with a Chrony Alpha have re tested proven loads. Velocities are within 20fps of those recorded with the Pact.

When my 12 year old Pact model 1 gave it up, I tried a Chrony Alpha with remote display. The velocity values it gave me were obviously wrong. Midway took it back and refunded my money. Pact offered to replace my old Model 1 with a new Model 1 XP, which works even better than the original Model 1 did. And they gave me a 30% discount on the exchange. The new Pact is warranted for as long as I own it, unlike the original that had a limited warranty. I prefer using the Pact to the Chrony.

Move back.

Move back is what the company rep told me on the phone. I
did move back, about 30 ft. back in various steps. Results
were predictable. Seeing no improvement I inevitably shot the
pos and so.. got to buy a replacement. Guess what? It's a
replacement all right. Best bargain chronograph in my opinion
is the Pro Chrono Pal, about 99.00.
