red dot sight on 629

suggestions? looking to put a red dot sight/scope on my 629-2 8 3/8...i just picked up a weaver base..what next? kinda new to mounting optics on a pistol. dont have a ton of money spend and ive seen what some of those models go for.

I have been shooting my m-29 sillouette with a tasco pdp3 red dot since Iowa opened hangun hunting years ago and I also have an 8 3/8 in. with a 1x tasco pro class along with a m-17 w/ a 1x4 scope,m-648 w/ a2x , m-41w/ a reddot, and m-17-6 w/ a holograph type multi reddot. Look at your dealers and decide what you like and what you want it for ,then get the best you can afford ?
