Ok, I want to purchase a RedDot from Primary Arms to co/witness with the iron sites. Which one is my question, since I know nothing about RedDots please help me. Jim

I have the Primary Arms M4 on my 15-22 and it is sweet! It co-witnesses with the front sight.

I also have the PA dot. Works very well and has a nice sight picture. For the money, you cannot go wrong. Got mine a few months ago when they were having a special that you get a free rifle case when you purchase the sight.

That's a pretty good question considering Primary Arms has added so many variations, especially to their MicroDot lineup.
Among what they offer... here's what I would suggest considering.
M3 clone - 3MOA dot. Select either of the HIGH mounts.
MicroDot - 3MOA dot. There's a lot of choices, but I would get one with the removable base instead of a fixed base. The removable base allows scope specific risers for it just like Aimpoint instead of a generic rail riser. The killflash version is gimicky but if you're worried about zombies seeing the glint off your scope then it's a must. I have the regular PA riser and it works fine for co-witness. If you want a better QD then get the American Defense riser.

I MIGHT just recommend one of their optics like M3 or M4- I like the size vs the Micro cause the 15-22 is so light to begin with.
the M3 with Cantilever mount looks like the best IMHO or M4 is great and has its own base.
The Microdot is of course a great choice and is the style I use on my 15-22. Primary Arms is the way to go.

Give the Vortex StrikeFire a shot, I love it, solid and built to handle the recoil of a AR 5.56. So you should have no issue on a 22lr. Plus they have a warranty that is the best in the market. It is $149 on Amazon with a mount. You can co-witness 100% or based on the mount you get, 1/3 Co-witness (what I've got on my ARs). Buy a Red Dot once, this is the best value Red Dot I've found that works. Got a box of cheap ones that look good in the shower.. Good luck.
