I remember Porky's Hudson:

Don't you mean a Commodore? The Hornet started in 1951
I have always remembered it as a Hornet but could very well be mistaken. It was a big old car that ran like a scalded dog.
In 1951 new Hudson Hornets sold for around $2,500
Here's a Hudson 'pickup' that I saw over in AZ.
Don't know why I didn't get a better shot of the bed.
Probably wanted that Indian Sign in tne shot.
That's surely on Erie Street in beautiful downtown Lowell, AZ, isn't it? That locale draws a lot of classic vehicles! Here's a couple that appeared there not all that long ago.

P.S. My mother was born in Lowell, in 1912.
Not a Hudson expert but didn't they have a straight 8?
There was a local guy who raced them on local tracks up into the 70s. I've heard the engine was a torque monster.
A 51 Lincoln would have been a heavy Ford using the truck flathead V8. Probably did loose to the Hudson.
I didn't even know it was an actual car. My only knowledge of it was from the movie (my kids were in elementary school when the first Cars movie came out).
