Remember this old fellow... Model 19-3 2 1/2" barrel.

He has been MIA for a long, long, long, long time. But he finally made it back from Fords. They did the master blue and repaired the right side lettering. (due to a misunderstanding with my gunsmith they didn't fix the lettering on the left side of the barrel - not Fords fault)

A while back we had a discussion about refinish or not refinish. I saved and spent the repair money a couple of times before I got it packed up and off.

It may be my new / only barbecue gun.

I thought you enablers would appreciate the change.

Thank you all for the comments...

Very nice. In order for it to be a BBQ gun, it needs a nice set of Grashorn Stags!

It does need a little something more doesn't it?

Nice! Well worth the effort. Hang the expense

Compared to what some Model 19s are going for now I didn't really come out that bad. I didn't have any illusions about getting my money "back", but after taking my son and wife to a hockey game the other night I don't feel bad about it at all.

Great job! A new family heirloom.

That is what I thought when I first saw it. I hope my son will keep it and think of me.

Very nice rejuvenation.

Iggy, a compliment from you is most appreciated. I value your opinion greatly.
