I don't think he's gone but I kind of miss that guy that I think his name was Gator Farmer. I think he's going to be in prison for the rest of his life.

Gator was an interesting fellow with a lot of issues. A real sad story and yes he is doing life for killing his wife and leaving their children totally adrift . Life is indeed strange.

so many sadly... my friends list has many holes over the years... old Joe Clark... Sunday mornings haven't been the same... shouldazagged.. artdoc aka saxon pig, crazyphil, ancient one, absalom, bigwheelzip, etc. I will add loknload to the list of gone but not forgotten.. I will raise a toast to those that have gone before us... cheers friends, until we meet again.

Dave from PA. I was able to meet him at the Washington County gun shows. Spent time together at a the symposium in Concord a couple years ago. He had a camp near our in Greene County PA. Reached out to him before hunting season hoping to see him, learned he was ill and he passed soon after.

IBSandy1 became a good friend and I got to meet other members through him. Sasaberanger, Thom Braxton, another passed member, among them. Sandy and I spent some good times on motorcycle rides as well as range time. Hard to believe it’s been over 12 years since he passed. He went through a lot of hard times I wouldn’t wish on an enemy.

There have been a lot, unfortunately. One that stands out to me was Matt, MG357, from Illinois. He was a kind young man that had some health issues, was enthusiastic about collecting, and loved his family (evident from his posts). News on that one made me tear up a bit.

It's really a testament to the people here, community, and guidelines set forth from the owner, Lee.

Thom Braxton Sasaberanger was a really nice guy. He was at most all of the local gun shows. I always looked forward to seeing and talking to him.

I was just getting to the bottom to add Thom to this. We shared many a meal and many hours of "side by side" table time at the shows out this way. We stood toe to toe and busted each other's chops in the most fun way that "guys" like us really enjoyed. One time I walked into a show wearing my big 'ol Tom Mix Stetson and wearing tennis shoes. OMG !! Thom let me (and everyone in earshot) know I had committed a mortal sin. He was generous with his friendship. Life became a bit less fun when he left .......
