At the risk of being labeled a female chauvinist oinker, I'd say leave well enough alone and enjoy the gun as is. You might run across a shooter of the female persuasion and she will likely be impressed with your thoughtfulness and manners in caring enough to shoot a classy gun.

The number of grown arse men proudly carrying around Lady Smith pistols has always been a bit of a chuckle for me. I guess I'm just not in touch with my feminine side. Heck, I don't even feel right handling my NL. I makes me feel a little... well... testosterone deficient.

In compact 9mm pistols for real men to carry, God (well, S&W anyway) made the standard 3913/3914/3953/3954 single stack pistols. They're perfect as they are gentlemen! I see no need for anything fancier or feminine. You want a non-ambi safety? Buy a 908 (or go DAO)! The look is decidedly masculine and that's how it should be. IMHO, none of you dudes would make a good looking woman!

I've owned several "Lady smiths" and liked them all. I've currently got one in a 317, 22LR.

I don't have any pink guns but do carry a lavender LCP.

Oh, I agree with you. The "NL" is simply a Lady Smith without the logo. Now, some would say that makes it a manly man's gun, but that's kind of a stretch. I feel it was made for women who happen not to like the logo.

I know that yours, in particular, was an outstanding investment. Hard to pass it up for what you paid. I didn't do nearly as well, but moonbat state beggars can't be choosers.

That said, I needed to go on testosterone replacement therapy for nearly a year after I bought it. Go figure!
