Removing the sideplate for dummy's

How do you remove the sideplate from a 640-1 and then re-install?
Please try to keep the instructions a simple as possible.
My new to me 640-1 will come home at the end of this week and I want to make sure everything is clean and lubed(what is the best lube to use,Iusually use Rem-oil for most stuff)
