Never too late to learn something.
For years I have maintained my pleasure making use of Johnson's Paste Wax on just about anything. I have stated my preference on this Forum more than once.
Well, I finally broke down and bought a container of Ren Wax. The results are without question that it is superior.
So, I stand corrected. I retract my defiance, and highly recommend Renaissance Wax. I have gotten fantastic results on all surfaces I have tried it on including guns, both metal and wood parts..... and my kitchen table!
If you haven't tried it yet, you may wish to.
Glad that my mind remains open enough to do something different upon occasion. I now stand corrected and in a better place.

Now why didn't I ever think about using it on knives too? I also started with Johnson's paste wax, and marveled at the amount you get for dollar spent. Then once I gave in and bought the Ren wax, I was amazed at how far ir wend and the deeper shine.

Guess I need to did my knives out and start on them next.

I am still a firm believer in using JPW for the initial treatment (s), as I believe it works better as a cleaner to pull old oil, etc out of the pores. As for a final treatment RW is better as it leaves a harder finish.

I use RW on my glasses, my watch crystals, and my smart phone screen
