Well the new 638-3 I received as a replacement for my old one with a cracked frame turned out to be a VERY accurate shooter! It is just as accurate if not ever so slightly more accurate than my old one, and that is saying A LOT given the excellent accuracy of my old one. Functioned flawlessy and even better yet, accuracy not even dependent on the ammo being used. Everything from Magtech practice ammo to Remington Green Box hollowpoints to Federal Hydra-Shoks fired accurately through it. The fixed sights are perfectly aligned with the bore and it shoots to point of aim regardless of the distance when you concentrate and do your part. Very nice indeed!

I was curious as to how the 25 yard accuracy would look just for SAG and I put a 110Gr Remington Hollowpoint right in the center of the two inch orange dot in the head of a green SB-1 target! Some of the other guys at the range glanced over and couldn't believe I just did that with a snubby. (Snubbies aren't very accurate don't ya know

) Just for the hell of it I took another head shot and put it right in the forehead of the target just about four inches higher and in perfect vertical alignment with my last shot. At that point I decided to quit while I was WAY ahead and not spoil such a great target. LOL

The gun is nice and tight and has a good trigger on it too. I'm looking forward to some more shooting and carrying this one!

I've done some amazing shots with a 2" snubbie before If you take your time & work the trigger correctly..
Congrats!!

Thanks guys! I think snubs are both challenging and a lot of fun to shoot!
