One of my "Honey Hole" fishing spots has a fair, pitted example of the "Perfected Single Shot" pistol. It arrived in a leather holster that is obviously the reason for the poor condition of the finish.

I had never come across one before so, if the price can be made right, I'd like to have it.
(It would need to be cheap.)

The worst aspect is the overall condition, followed closely by the broken hammer spur -or, maybe I've got those two strikes backwards!... I'm not sure.

Can anyone offer ideas on possible hammer replacements, if they even exist?
If not, I think this is a parts gun, at best.
The grips appear to be original, by the way.

Thank you.

From memory, it should use the same hammer as a .38 DA of the same period. You can mount the .22 SS barrel on the .38DA frame.
Numrich should have schematics of the various DA models so you can see which ones are the same.
If they don't have one, try Jack First or post a WTB on the classifieds page.
I'm sure one of us has one left from a parts gun.
I have a couple single shots and they're fun!
Good luck.

I don't know if the 38 DA and the 32DA use the same internal parts, but I do know the rebound slide from a .32 fit a 3rd Mod Single Shot. I had no problem replacing it. I would think the hammer would be the same also.
