Reputable Gun Shops in Pittsburgh/Oakdale area

The S&W forum seems like a pretty large community and I am seeking some help. One of my close friends lives in Oakdale, Pennsylvania and is looking for a reputable firearms store in the area. He received the BIG OK from his wife to bring in firearms to the house.

Would any of our members from the Pittsburgh area be able to provide a list of their trusting firearms stores? Thank you in advance.

Probably the best-known in the Pittsburgh area are:
Ace Sporting, Washington PA: best inventory; I've bought a few from them; found them to be a bit expensive and unwilling to negotiate, but if you want it, they've probably got it.
John Brown's Armory, Rochester PA: small store with a lot of good S&W's (at least before the current frenzy struck); pretty good prices; I like the old-time gun store environment there but lately it's been a madhouse.
Anthony Arms, West Mifflin PA: the store is like a museum; lots of high-end, engraved and expensive stuff; I usually just go there to drool.

One place that I haven't yet been to but plan on going to soon is Cove Creek Outfitters over in Bedford PA. It's a couple of hours away, but reportedly they have a lot of Coopers, Kimbers and CZ's. I like CZ's.

Thanks Speedo and ladder for the recommendations. Does John Brown's have a good selection of Springfields? My buddy is looking at both Smith's and and a Springfield XDM or XDS. Also, how is their selection of AR-15's? I know right now there is a buying frenzy, but in normal times, do they have a decent selection? He is thinking about purchasing a S&W M&P15 as well.

There is a gentleman on coltforum.com called keystonearms - he is a pleasure to do business with and a good guy to boot. I think he is somewhere in the Pittsburgh area.

Did a little more research. Forum member keystonearms is located in New Castle, PA - shoot him a PM. He deals mostly in Colts but can probably help you out with your S&W needs - just don't let him recruit you to the dark side!

Ha, it's not me that we have to worry about, it is my buddy that lives in the Pittsburgh area. Hopefully he sticks with my recommendations.
