Rescued a 3953 - frame refinish input needed

Contact Smith and Wesson themselves, is my humble suggestion. I asked them once how much it'd be to refinish my 5903. It wasn't too bad a price but I left it as a beater.

Called S&W service ... prepare for long hold time, 30 minutes.

Refinishing @ 9-months
3rd Gen action package @ 5-7 months
And recommended if I had a local gunsmith it might be quicker.

So I'll try some other shops for the refinish.

Good news is I had a BG380 for warranty repairs, it was there less than a month and has been shipped back this week. Laser Module screw was stripped, I'll know more on this when I inspect it.

Alumahyde

You might consider this from Brownell's. It comes out very nice with good prep work, and very reasonable. I'm no painter and mine came out just fine...

Well that sucks. My 4006 chipped the extractor and needs to go back to be repaired. While it was there, I was hoping to have the 3rd generation action package done.
