Considering these for my Shield as a friend and experienced shooter raves about them on all his handguns.

S&W M&P Accessories - 10-8 Performance Store

Was going to opt for TFO's but now reconsidering going with the fiberoptic 10 8 front sight. Never used a blank u post rear sight so not sure what to expect but in theory, should work well for defense purposes.

Anyone have experience with these good or bad?

I had the 10 8 sights installed on my M&P 9 last week. I chose the fiber front sight, and installed the red tube.

I use this pistol for the range and am preparing it for IDPA.

I find it much easier and quicker to pick up the front sight and put it on target than the stock sights. For me, seeing the three dots, and aligning the sight picture on target was a little too much info. The simpler sight picture is faster for me.

If you want to target shoot, then I recommend these sights.

While the gun was in the shop, I had the Apex USB Installed too. The rear sight must be removed to install the new striker block. This fairly inexpensive upgrade really smoothed out the trigger.

This might help out some.

I love my 10-8 sights, the front fiber optic and rear notch go together great. As for the tfo's my advice is stay away far away... Had two of the tfo front sights on my gun, after having the first one replaced by truglo and being with out my gun for a few weeks I was done with them when my second front sight cracked.

Tex your video was the first thing I watched after visiting their website. Nice shooting and good review.

I just put the Tru Glo TFO sights on my M&P 45. I really like the concept. They are super nice in a low light situation. I haven't had them out in the bright sun yet because I only installed them last night. I will report back when I get to the range with them.

However, I have a couple of friends that think the 10-8 sights are the greatest thing since sliced bread. They love the U notch in the back. I don't see how it makes a difference, but they love it.

Please give us a review when you get yours set up.
