Its a really fine pistol. I have a full size and compact both in .45. Both work really well, are quite accurate for service pistols and shoot quite softly. Theres just not much to dislike.

I really like the 45C a lot. I had a 9c and a 40c. The 40c was difficult to shoot for me. Second shot was always off. Bought the 45c and it shoots so well that I no longer carry the 9c anymore. Dependable, concealable, and a .45 Phenomenal.

Not sure what a 45 Compact is I have two 45s one with a 4.5 inch barrel and the other with a 4.25 inch barrel and from their web it appears that the compact hold 8 rounds instead of ten and has a 3 1/2 inch barrel regardless a 45 is still a big gun and I carry concealed several of them although I usually carry my M&P40C, great thing is that my holster accommodates all of them from 9 mm to 45, just wish ammunition was cheaper for all of them.

The 45c has a 4" bbl and it is my favorite M&P Pistol. Had a 40c but sold it as the 45c just a better weapon to work with. Put some APEX parts in it and it shoots very well.

The M&P 45c is a dandy little "compact-ish" .45 pistol. Pretty close to a 4513TSW, overall, but with a better grip and a 1/4" longer barrel.

I've enjoyed shooting the last one I tried well enough that I've been considering adding one to my collection to complement my full-size M&P 45. It's just enough smaller that I might carry it more than my FS model.
