I know, of course, that TV and Hollywood often use non-guns, and make up some for effect.
This one looks almost real. It's supposed to be an illegal gun, of course, and my guess is it is supposed to be a "zip gun."

This is the clearest screen-shot pic I got. I got a couple other angles on it, but the TV image was a bit blurred for them.

Any ideas?

No clue, Texas Star. I was kinda thinking it was someone's substitute for a Colt cylinder release. But I think ACP230 may have it with Charter Arms.

GOT IT ACP230! Did a Bing image search and the exact one was about half-way down the first page. Charter Arms Bull Dog Pup .44 Special.
Pictures of the other side clearly show that cylinder latch.
Pic attached.

That's Harvey's gun, right? I froze the frame on that exact shot and turned to my wife and said; "Those blockheads that made this show missed a bet. If Harvey was using a Model 27-2 with a 3.5 inch barrel and a red-ramp front sight -- and they kept teasing us with shots of it in every episode -- you'd have the whole S&W Forum website watching the show. Hell, you'd have Lee Jarrett telling us that the producers as well as the rest of us were blockheads because the gun should have had diamond magnas and a Tyler-T before we all made such a stink over it. But they missed that bet."

End of freeze frame, back to the show. But I really told her that. And I really meant it.
