I bought a 66-8 about a year ago. I have changed stocks, sights and thumb latch just to suit me. Other than that it is a stock 2.75" gun.
By the third cylinder of rounds I knew it was a keeper. The trigger is great and really improved about 50 rounds in. It shoots everything from 110 gr. .357's to Buffalo Bore's .38+p FBI load to mid range wad cutters very well. I don't shoot it past 20 yards but it's quite accurate to my standards. I think you will like it. They are a little heavy even in the 2.75" barrel so a good holster and belt are necessary. For a holster I recommend Ken Null and for belt Rick Garcia. That's my $.02.
