Riding lawn mower lift

The deck on my JD LA105 comes out fairly easily. 6 cotter pins and it slides right out. I've had a lot of practice in the past couple of weeks after bending two spindles and warping the deck!!! I hadn't scraped mine since last season but I do use the "spray wash" nozzle every 2 or 3 mowings and the build up was minimal.

I looked at lifts and just don't trust them.
Do any of you have any experience with riding lawn mower lifts? I am looking at the following:

300lb Lawn Mower Lift MoJack EZ-The MoJack

Pro-Lift Lawn Mower Lift - Tractor Supply Co.

Using a car jack doesn't give me enough height to easily scrap out the deck.

Before these mower lifts came out, I bought my father in law one of those
Engine hoists, or cherry pickers as some of us call them.
He loves it, and it's prob. About the same price as the mower jack

A friend has one and loves it for scraping the deck clean. Easy access for removing the blades if your deck doesn't come off easily.

My wife bought me one last year.....I still have it in the box. Haven't found a reason to lift the mower that high!!!:)

I usually just drop the deck.

I have seen the one at Tractor Supply but haven't convinced myself to spend almost $200 for it. When the time comes to chance blades and scrape the deck, I have a motorcycle jack and some jack stands.

I use an engine hoist. It lifts the whole front of the tractor to complete vertical if needed. Just have to be careful about which way any fuel or lube oil drains. :D I already had the hoist, so don't know how pricing of it vs. a lift would compare. FWIW...........:)
