RIP Jack Bruce

I had the amazing good fortune to be at Creams' first
performance in San Francisco.

All three were on a completely different level than anyone I have ever seen.

Jack Bruce did more on his bass than most lead guitar players.

He had to given who he was playing with..........

The best base line in rock history, in my view, was the original live Cream recording of "Crossroads." I always liked the song, but then I was hit in the passenger door of my truck, and whatever happened to the speakers, accentuated the base line, and that's when I "really heard it." There goes another one.

It was with great sadness & shock that I read the title of this thread. He was always a hero of mine & back when I played bass in local rock bands, someone I strove to emulate. God Speed Jack!

Alphabetical order....seems fair to me. :)

I know a guy named Ziggy thats always felt a day late and a dollar short. I'm a kinda middle of the alphabet kinda guy so I never felt the horrors of alphabetical order and oppression as much as he did.
