RM Price check

If you haven't read D.B. Wesson's Scrapbook buy a copy ($55), read it, then decide whether to sell your RM. The book is the geek's guide to the RM -- lots of news clippings, photos, and other memorabilia D.B. Wesson kept through the RM development and after.

For $8k you can get a Glock for each day of the week with enough money left over for a good supply of ammo.

$8K is more than I'd pay for the gun - but then again I have more than a few RM's and I've become pretty picky particularlly on a 6.5"er. Now the Ropers on the other hand - they are outstanding...:)

While I love the gun, box, and Particularly the stocks, I'd have to sell for that number. I feel I could replace the RM with an equal or better example and have around $2,000 left

Sorry to pry but I checked your profile. At half my age I'd elect to keep it. That might be the last RM in your lifetime if you let it go. If'n you was an OF, I'd be counting that 8K before sundown. Joe

I agree. The original poster was born in 1984 and so is just a kid of 32. With a forum name like Shooting4life it appears that you're in it for the long haul. In 40 years $8000 won't be worth much but that RM will still be what it is now. Keep it and enjoy it!!!!

Nice non thumb rest N frame ropers are a thousand bucks all day. Without the ribbon pattern maybe two days.:D

They just don't come up much.

If you sold the gun i would see if there was a way you could keep them.
