First stop on the tour: Viagra Falls.
And most of their fans are just the right age for AARP.
A conspicuous segment of the audience was wearing nasal cannulas and carrying O2 concentrators. I was born in 64; they started touring two years earlier.

If you are a Stones fan but don't want to shell out the big bucks for one of their concerts, check out the Rolling Stoners. Probably the best tribute band out there for any group. They are based out of Minneapolis.

Seen them three times before. A long time ago, and there were outstanding! This should be called the Ventilator Blues tour!
Went to a CS&N concert at Red Rocks about a decade ago and couldn’t believe how many old and stoned boomers there were lol
I have to agree they have lasted longer and toured making more money than I can imagine. They should get Paul & Ringo to open for them, or put them in the band. Hell, throw in Iggy Pop to stage dance with them.
I saw the Stones once back in their Some Girls tour up in Cleve Land… festival seating. Worst concert I ever attended. Too bad about Brian Jones.

In 1989 I was a junior at Auburn University. The Rolling Stones were playing at Legion Field in Birmingham. A buddy of mine had 4 tickets so we made the 2 hour drive.
The stage was set up in the end zone, so it was the width of the football field. During 'Honkey Tonk Women' they had two inflatable women, similar to a parade balloon, one one each side of the stage. They were 'sitting' on the speaker wall and hooked to ropes so they could move them to simulate them getting down to the music. It was an amazing concert.
No idea how we made it back to Auburn.

Stones are playing at Jazz Fest in New Orleans. Tickets are stupid expensive and I do not feel like getting there in the morning to stake out a spot for the show that will start in the evening. I saw them when they were in Houston in 21 and it was a great show. Don't need to see them again but if someone comes up with a VIP pass for the fair grounds, well THAT would be the way to go.
Right now I'm into my 60-70 days listening to stuff like Little Feet, The Dead and such. Good stuff

Their best album. Cool psych music and the 3D album cover made good use of being home with no one to bother me but my Dobe-Shepherd mix dog Dylan during a strange phase in my life. My only Stones album.

I hope i can carry on like they do at their age. Heck, I hope I make it to their age!

I'd say the first stop would be The Villages here in FL . It's a giant retirement city(?) that touches 4 counties . The only downside is it's a hotspot for STD's . But then at their age I guess they don't have to worry about groupies . Can you imagine groupies for 80 yo rockstars ? It's going to be hard to erase that thought from my head .
80 year old rockstar millionaires. I don't think they would have much problem finding an attractive young woman to join their bed.

I saw them in San Diego in 1981. Tickets were sixteen dollars! Those were the days...
There's actually footage of them at Jack Murphy Stadium on YT, the exact concert I went to. Twenty years later I worked with a woman who had been to the same concert. We compared notes and realized we were probably within fifty feet of each other!
