I traded for this to shoot, but I don't have the time for the SASS and IPSC shooting I do now, so someone is getting a nice Christmas present. This is a truly amazing revolver. Ron Powers is considered the best revolver competition gunsmith around. He's now retired. It was a hard decision to sell this gun as I was told his guns don't come up for auction that often because the owners don't die that often. I got it in trade from a guy that had a pair of these consecutively numbered. I contacted Mr. Powers son who owns their business and he told me it's a "Custom Classic" and this one was made in 1978. It is a S&W model 10, at least the frame and cylinder are, the rest is all custon, Douglas barrel and the grips were hand made by Guy Hogue. The trigger guard and backstrap have been stippled.The trigger has to be felt to be believed. Just an amazing gun in superb condition. Metal is immaculate except the cylinder ring. The grips are perfect. The front sight can be set for 7, 25, and 50 yds.
