I recently got a rude awakening when I set about on a search for 'K' RB grips for a 3" M65 I got. Wanted original S&W RB Targets or Combats, but found they were priced like gold.
I have a 'thing' for attractive wood grips that have the S&W escutcheon/medallion on them. I ended up with some from gungripsupply, but am not happy with them, as they are laminated and cheap-looking.
I'd be really interested in some 'medallioned' K RB in the Compac design.

If what your looking for is laminate or run of the mill wood like most that smith and Wesson used in there stock making shop, then I can't help you. What I do is use the best wood with the best figuring the stuff that just pops out at you when the light hits it. I also don't do thick fat square grip shapes. My grips are designs that people have seeked out over the last 80-90 years as a replacement for what lacked in factory grips.
