Espresso, that is a great looking little J!!
To make the front sights pop on my silver J-frames I coat the back ridge of the front sight with orange model paint.

I find it is also helpful to paint the rear notch on stainless guns. I use the tip of a toothpick to spread a drop of flat black model paint around on the rear face of the notch, the 3 flat surfaces of the notch itself, and the well in the frame behind the notch face. My only surface prep is to wipe down the places to be painted with a QTip dunked in alcohol.
