Most of us on the semiauto forum are familiar with the classic J frame wheelgun. An absolute classic, but even the Airweight is a bit bulky in the right front pocket. I always carried that way in the warm weather, somehow, even with the pocket holster, it would get torqued and become uncomfortable. Probably still the best choice for true pocket-carry with its firepower and reliability, but Kel-Tec and Ruger are much easier to carry. The drawback is total reliability (a problem with small autos in general) and the anemic .32 and .380 bullet choices-not that I'd want to be on the receiving end of either. What will be interesting is S&W's entry into the market of pocket .380s Gun dealers around here, Hartford,CT., cannot keep the LCP in stock. I can't wait for a micro 9mm. As small and as well made as Kahrs baby-9s are, they ain't small enough to carry comfortably in your jeans pocket. Carrying on hot days has always been difficult, but Ruger and Kel-Tec have a mass-produced answer to that problem.
