Strangely enough, I can't seem to muster any sympathy for putin.
This is the correct answer.Putin should not get one inch of territory by invasion. Not Ukraine, not Georgia, not anywhere.
And the U.S. could park a boomer just about anywhere it wants.I'd have to see Russia give nuclear war a try before I'll believe they do more than bluff with nukes. Besides, one leg of their nuclear triad, strategic bombers, is now 30% smaller.
Both the UK and France have their own nukes that don't need to travel far.
Like the B-61 warheads we 'don't' have at Incirlik Air Base, Adana, Turkey? And the U.S. could park a boomer just about anywhere it wants.
I was referring to the nuclear missile subs that we definitely have. But those could be useful too.Like the B-61 warheads we 'don't' have at Incirlik Air Base, Adana, Turkey?
Would love for that to happen, but even if someone replaces Putin, I don't see the country of Russia ever agreeing to it. The idea of greater Russian Empire is just too ingrained in the culture.Russia should not get ONE INCH of what they had previously agreed (in the USSR breakup) was Ukraine.
In fact, ALL the damage done to Ukraine should be repaid/rebuilt using Russian Reparations! , including payment to Ukrainian families who lost loved-ones and soldiers to Russia’s unprovoked attacks!
Russian Assets should compensate Ukraine as much as possible!
I’m not going to try to solve the geopolitical problems here, but Russia could probably cut that number in half if they just break out the Flex Seal to fix some of those damaged planes…If you look at it in terms of the capabilities of those aircraft and what it would cost to build them now, $7 billion makes more sense.
That would be the same FSB that didn't notice new buildings with hundreds of drones and a few dozen Ukrainian operators near nuclear bomber bases? One could wish, but I think Putin's control of the FSB will prevent that.
This is what I saw as well. From what I saw, they launched them out of modified truck trailers. They then flew away to their targets. Ivan never saw them coming.
Not sure if Flexseal is rated for main wing spar repairs. In one video out there, the drone was clearly being flown to a very specific spot on the wing of a Tu-95. You can be pretty sure that plans for that aircraft and many others from the former Soviet Union are available to the Ukrainians.I’m not going to try to solve the geopolitical problems here, but Russia could probably cut that number in half if they just break out the Flex Seal to fix some of those damaged planes…
