Welcome! Someone will jump in shortly to help, that is a fine revolver! I think it’s a model 1 1/2 series 3...but I am new to antique S&W.

Welcome to the Forum. Your S&W appears to be a very fine condition .32 Double Action, 4th Model .It was made May 26, 1905, as part of a run of 800 nickle plated revolvers with black hard rubber stocks. Ed .

Just curious what is the origin of proof mark .right side near pivot in photo one ??

Replating work

In my opinion it was applied by the contractor who performed the re-nickel plating job.

The proof Mark looks to be from Chile Army. This gun was from my steep father who was in Chile Army.

I have two more guns from him an Astra Pistol and a FAMAE Pistol with same mark.

I'm preety sure the nikel and all gun is original from factory no restore work has been done is in pristine condition.

Thank you again for your help.

In the other hand I'm just curios if it has some monetary value?

I'm not willing to sell it but Im curious.
